For as long as I can remember, I have always been interested in law. I can remember early on wanting to become a lawyer.
Before I became a lawyer, I worked as a police officer with Albertville PD in the late 1980s. I believe this experience gave me a whole perspective on the other side of criminal defense. My compassion and understanding of criminal defense makes it easy for my clients to come to me.
I graduated from Athens State in 1993 with a B.S. in psychology. I graduated from Jones School of Law in August of 1997. I began my law practice in May 1998, focusing mainly on criminal defense and domestic relations. Ten years later I went to work with the Marshall County District Attorney’s office, where I prosecuted various felony and misdemeanor cases. I spent six years with the District Attorney’s Office before returning to private practice.
Looking back over my diverse career, I have no regrets with the path I have chosen, and I look forward to putting my invaluable career experiences to work for you.
I look forward to working with you & helping you form the strongest case!
